Our Commitment
At ISG, quality is not a department — it is a discipline embedded across every company in the group. From the suppliers we qualify and the stock we hold, to the documentation we issue and the deliveries we make, our quality management systems deliver consistency and reliability at every stage.
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 — the internationally recognised standard for consistent, customer-focused operations. This certification covers purchasing, warehousing, order fulfilment and customer service across the group.
For aerospace and defence supply, we operate to AS9100 Rev D — the industry-specific quality management standard adding risk management, configuration control, airworthiness and first-article inspection requirements on top of ISO 9001 foundations.
Every manufacturer we stock must pass our structured supplier qualification programme. Audits, documentation reviews and ongoing performance monitoring confirm we only source from manufacturers with the quality systems and traceability our customers require.
Full batch and lot traceability is maintained for all products we supply. Test reports, material certifications and certificates of conformance are available for every product line — essential for aerospace, defence and medical programme documentation requirements.
Products received into our warehouse undergo incoming inspection against our quality plan. Dimensional, visual and documentation checks are completed before stock is released — preventing non-conforming product from entering our supply chain.

How It Works
Supplier Qualification & Ongoing Audit
Before a manufacturer is approved for supply, our procurement team completes a structured qualification including documentation review, quality system assessment and, where appropriate, site audit. Approved suppliers are subject to annual performance review and re-qualification.
Purchase Order & Specification Control
Every purchase order references controlled product specifications, ensuring the correct part number, revision, material specification and quality requirements are communicated to the supplier at point of order.
Incoming Goods Inspection
On receipt, products are inspected against our incoming inspection plan. Documentation is verified, physical condition checked and batch/lot numbers recorded in our system. Non-conforming product is quarantined and raised through our non-conformance process.
Controlled Storage & Handling
Stock is held in controlled conditions appropriate to each product type. Shelf-life managed products are tracked and rotated on a FIFO basis. Environmental monitoring confirms storage conditions remain within specification at all times.
Order Picking, Packing & Documentation
Orders are picked, verified and packed to prevent transit damage. Required documentation — including certificates of conformance, test reports and material certifications — is prepared and issued with every order as standard.
Customer Feedback & Corrective Action
All customer feedback and non-conformance reports are recorded and investigated through our formal corrective action process. Root cause analysis and preventive action are completed and documented, with outcomes fed back into our quality management review cycle.
